Getting to the Watch City Steampunk Festival

WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO USE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION TO REACH OUR FESTIVAL IF AT ALL POSSIBLE.

Although the Fitchburg Commuter Rail Line is not running on weekends until November, a generous neighbor—the 128 Business Council—is DONATING special Steampunk Festival shuttle service to the Festival from both the Alewife Red Line Station and the Riverside Green Line station!

PARKING

There are many public, metered lots in the vicinity of our Festival and on the side streets off Moody Street, all of which are safe and a convenient walking distance from Waltham Common . There is also a great deal of on-street parking. Please feed your meters, and do NOT park in private parking lots!

CLICK HERE for a map of the public parking lots in the vicinity of Waltham Common. Please note that Carter Street, and the Carter Street lot adjacent to the Common are part of the Festival Footprint this year and are closed to traffic for Festival Day.
