“I should like to extend congratulations and admirations to all of our ingenious inventors who took part in our festival’s first annual Mad Science Competition! Professor Elemental and I were astounded by your display of innovatory prowess — you do our city proud. I must apologize on behalf of Mayor Sedgewick for his attempts to patent your inventions, and once again applaud our brilliant winners. Well done to young Mr. Forrest Feist for winning the common favor, earning the People’s Choice Award for The Krumdrick Golden Canary Tea Infuser. Bravo to Russell Hannula, the Baron of Blueberry Hill, for claiming third place and the Egads! Trophy for Orson Kobalt: an Optimal Robotic Buddy. Top marks to the Citizens of Antiford for taking second place and the Gadzooks! Trophy for the Moderno Volo. And Hurrah! Hurrah! to Noah King for coming away with first place and the coveted Eureka! March 2019

Greetings, Citizens of Watch City! Here’s a roundup of the latest news about the Watch City Steampunk Festival! Join us on May 11th in downtown Waltham, MA.

Guest of Honor: Professor Elemental!

Chap-hop performer Professor Elemental will be joining us this year! An award-winning hip-hop artist and accomplished host, Professor Elemental has performed all over the world at everything from festivals to wedding parties, hip-hop shows to bizarre burlesque. A regular on the worldwide convention and festival scene, he has played everywhere from Canada to Cambodia.

With a career spanning a decade, Professor Elemental first got noticed with ‘Cup Of Brown Joy’ which notched up over two million views and headlines in the national press. This was soon followed by a scuffle with another rapper named Mr. B, resulting in the follow-up ‘Fighting Trousers’ which has been viewed over three million times and gained worldwide acclaim.

On stage the Professor is a wild combination of music and comedy, incorporating improvisation and new material for each live show. He has also lent his voice to Disney cartoons, charity campaigns, advertisements and much more, as well as producing books, comic books, and games.
