A special shout out to all of the great volunteers who worked so hard keeping the day running, and to all of our valued sponsors, as well as Mayor Jeannette McCarthy and the departments of the City of Waltham, without whom the festival would not have been possible.
SEE YOU IN 2018!

We strongly recommend that you take public transportation to the Festival if possible as we are on #70 and #70A, and the #553 MBTA bus lines. Please note that although those busses normally stop on Carter Street on the southern edge of Waltham Common, CARTER STREET WILL BE CLOSED on Festival Day! - Therefore, the nearest stops for the day are on Main Street just west of the Common for all lines, as well as east of the Common for 70 and 70A, and on Moody Street at Pine/Crescent for #553.
Possibly the most elegant option for traveling to the Festival is the Fitchburg branch of the Commuter Rail which stops RIGHT IN FRONT of the festival, at Carter Street! CLICK HERE to view the Commuter Rail Fitchburg Line schedule!
In addition, there is the Watch City Steampunk Festival shuttle bus running all Festival Day between the Alewife Red Line stop and Waltham Common. CLICK HERE to view the shuttle schedule!
However, if driving is your only option, there is quite a bit of on-street parking in walking distance of Waltham Common, and a number of municipal parking lots, too. Please see the following map of the public parking lots in the downtown. - CLICK HERE to download a printable PDF of this parking map.
The 128 Business Council specializes in providing alternative transportation options in the Route 128 West Corridor and they are again this year including our Festival in their mission! There will be a FREE shuttle bus running all day on Festival Day, Saturday, May 13th, between the Alewife Red Line T Station and Elm Street, Waltham, on the eastern edge of Waltham Common!

Huge thanks to the 128 Business Council!
